Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | So proud of understanding hubby.....

Hi Everyone,

We were invited out by hubby's co-workers for a going away party today at a mexican restaurant.

Anyway, I didn't sleep well last night and had gas pains and have been to bathroom about 4 times already today. I think it was the lunch I had at work Friday and the brownie one of my co-workers gave me. I know....shoulda known better!

Soooooo, I looked up the mexican restaurant on the net and all they serve is weird stuff like goat, rabbit, pork, sirloin and weird stuff I never heard of with lots of spicy crazy sauces. I immediately felt sick thinking of eating something like that after my tummy was already not too good.
I thought I would eat something at home and then just "pick at" something there.

I told hubby about the menu and that there wasn't really anything I could eat. He said that we really didn't have to go and he wouldn't like that food either especially for the price. I was so happy that I didn't have to go and make small talk and pick at food I didn't want to eat. Yeah!!

I'm proud of hubby for being so understanding. YAAY!
