well yes and no. I got over the kidney failure part, thank god, but still have some lasting side effects. Every few months I get these nast UTI's which make me really sick to my stomach and trigger my migranes and then the antibiotics I have to take to get over them make my stomach even worse because it kills all the good bacteria in my digestive tract. My doctor suggested taking the antibiotics daily to prevent the infections, but unfortunately it made my IBS so bad I had to stop. I'm learning to deal with them and figuring out what seems to trigger them (damn stress, seems to make all my problems worse ). Luckily I've found another migrane med (not a preventaive though) that works pretty well without causing any other problems (I called my doctor when I found out caffeine is a major IBS trigger and learned that my med doesn't contain any ). Now all I have to do is avoid stress (yeah, college is really stress free, especially when I have to maintain a minimum GPA of 3.33 to keep my scholarships).
