I'm such a computer dummie. I was dreading this computer move BIG time. It took all day. I started at 9:00 this morning, and now it's almost 6:00. Oy.
BUT I DID IT! Here I am, down at The Farm, in a completely different environment, looking out at the trees and smelling the firs, and doin' it with the computer here! YAAAY!
You guys just don't understand 'cause you're all young and computer-saavy. I know ZILCH about computers, and this was really bugging me.....
Okay, I had a little trouble with Comcast and the internet connection (the new modem didn't have an adapter thingy that was connecting to the internet or some such nonsense), and I'm going to have to return the new modem to the store, but that's nothin' -- no biggie. I'm just glad I'm up and runnin'! Yippee!
And we're spending the night at The Farm for the first time! Yaay! What fun! I feel like I'm camping out in the woods. Hubby said a big buck just walked by as I was crawling under the desk and swearing filthy words at the computer. At least my back's all better now, eh?
I have a feeling I'll be up 'till midnight trying to find sheets to make the bed. Oy. And I need a SHOWER!
