Had a really BAD NIGHT.....       08/06/04 06:48 AM Edit Reply Quote barbie Reged: 04/22/04 Posts: 2435 Loc: Texas Hi everyone, Got a call from my son about midnight and he had taken pregnant DIL to emergency. She was having severe back pains radiating to stomach. She was checked out by the Labor & Delivery doc and said they didn't see any evidence of premature labor....WHEW....but she was in severe pain and they gave her something for pain that was OK for pregnant women. She had a bad reaction to that and her blood pressure went down and she was blacking out. My son was calling me about every hour to give me an update. One time he was crying and said he was really scared. I was a basket case by this time but tried to be strong telling him that everything would be OK. Finally, the last call at around 6AM he said that she had stabilized and was doing a lot better and they were sending her home. Anyway, needless to say, I feel like crap today with no sleep and all the worry. It really helps to be able to pour all of this out to you. Thanks for listening.
