I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that everything is OK. I used to know a lot of people who had lumps removed from their thyroid (we went to the same clinic)and all of them were absolutely fine. Personally my thyroid is kaput, but the replacement medication works wonders and doesn't even have any side efects - I don't even notice anything now. Best of luck - and try not to worry to much.
