Just spoke to the doc about the results of the MRI of my neck to see if nerve damage there was causing the withering in my left wrist. Negative on that, but guess what? I have a nodule on my thyroid. It's probably nothing to worry about but I have to call my regular doc on Monday to see if he wants to procede with an ultrasound. I found the following on a website: One in 12 to 15 women has a thyroid nodule One in 40 to 50 men has a thyroid nodule More than 90 percent of all thyroid nodules are benign (non-cancerous growths) So I'm not worried, but I feel like the medical system has me in its clutches now and this is going to be my life from now on.
