The thing that really gets me about aplying is all this talk my uncle says about haveing to get a lawyer and appear in court. Which I obviously can't do.
My Dr. keeps telling me that I should remember that it's not nessarily a permement illness, however anybody that looks at the facts will see that a true cure is a looong way off. If even in my own lifetime. I have come to the conclustion that I must convence my Dr. of the level it is debilitating to me.
However I think it is paramount to at least keep on fileing for it so at least it gets the goverments attention. And for those of you who haven't filed i think it may be helpful to us all that you try to. If anything it will add to the numbers. Of course it must be noted here that I know very little of the politics of disability, however I don't see that it can hurt. I also think it is hurtful to apply when it is truely unneeded. what I mean by that is those that have it less severe.
Right now I'm living with my parents. The time will come when I must live with my sister. However money is always tight and living in isolation is not doing me, my family, or society any favors. In fact I find it dangerous to all involved.
