She has the IQ of a 5th grader and is manic/depressive with severe panic disorder. She has been on and off of drugs, been in rehab and several mental facilities. Anyway she gets about $560.00 a month to live on. My sister(divorced) can't work because she has to be home taking care of my niece. So, that is all the money they have to live on. To add to this, my niece has a son 14 yrs old that my sister is taking care of, too. It is a real mess over there. To get back to the point..it was very hard for them to get disability and even now they are always having to fill out papers and meet with people, etc. After all that rambling, I was going to tell you that I heard a lawyer advertising on TV the other day that he could help people that have been denied disability get it.
