Steph, this is not advice, just a suggestion. I've had much better luck in that type of situation talking directly to the person first (even when I'm terrified she's going to scream at me!), rather than talking to someone else and asking them to approach her. MANY tough guys and gals became way more respectful after I politely but firmly stood my ground. She may be testing you to see what she's gonna be able to get away with. But deal directly with her or World War III will break out between you! At least that's been my (painful) experience.
