That part of Britsh Columbia is great, this year it's looking like there are going to be a fair amount of forest fires though. A really big one last year caused a lot of damage in Kelowna. I've been to a few of the places mentioned. Nova Scotia is nice and if you want a really nice drive, the Cabot trail on Cape Breton Island is gorgeous. That's on the fair North Eastern end of Nova Scotia though, so a little further away from the states. Duluth was really pretty and the drive along the Northern shore of Lake Superior is pretty nice too. One other suggestion I have would be the drive between Jasper and Banff National parks in Alberta Canada. There's lots to see and do and teh scenery is just as incredible as in BC. You could fly to Edmonton, rent a car, spend a few days driving and then fly back out of Calgary. The famous stampede is even on right now. Yellowstone park is also spectaular and Montana is gorgeous, although I didn't find that there was a lot to do. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
