Decorating your new condo is going to be one of the most exciting things in your life -- because it's all YOURS. You can do anything to it that you want -- and then invite your friends in to share it with them. It's GREAT fun. It's part of the American dream, Girlfriend!
And I'm SOOOOO glad you're doing well without Mr. V. You've got the right attitude. And you're absolutely right: it IS his loss. One day he'll look back and realize what he had and how he screwed it up. By then you'll have that condo in mint condition, all fabulously furnished, and on the market for sale for $1 million! You'll be engaged to a young man who puts V to shame, and you'll have forgotten who V was.
