Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards | Ready to smack my husband!!!

Our town is having a Rodeo/4th of July parade and this is the first year that we are on the parade route(just bought this house 10mths ago).Our original plan was to invite a FEW people over to watch the parade and stay afterwards for a cook-out.Well,my husband keeps inviting more and more people behind my back,i only find out when i get a call from them asking what they should bring for the party.Keep in mind my husband's paycheck was alot less than normal because of an increase in health insurance premiums and also a cell phone bill he has. I am so stressed out trying to figure out how im gonna afford to feed all these people,even though we asked them to bring a dish to pass,i still have to make enough bbq/sloppy joes to feed everyone plus buy the buns,paper plates, napkins and drinks.I dont even have enough to buy the usual groceries for the week! Then to really up my stress level his step-mom asked if her 2 daughters and their children can come also(thats 7 kids between them!)of course my husband couldnt say NO.Her daughers are so loud and obnoxious,her grandkids are undisciplined and the older ones cuss like sailors! Her daughters scream the F word at their kids all the time. I worry about what my sweet,gentle mannered neighbor lady is gonna think of us when that wild bunch arrives!!!! I just hope they behave!!!! My mom tells me not to worry about the food situation,since i am providing the bbq/sloppy joes,AND a place for them all to watch the parade then that should be good enough.I don't want to look like a cheap hostess or let on that we can't afford much,thats just the way i am. So it looks like im gonna have a rough week stressing about all this,because i want everything to be perfect! Im afraid im gonna have a melt down that day,because my "monthly friend" is going to arrive soon and im already tense and irritable!
