I can tell how stressed you are about it! It is a very stressful situation, I know. We close on our house next Friday, but we have the inspection TOMMORROW! It is new construction, and we have been watching it for months. I'm sure yours is MUCH bigger, this is our first house.
But...it sat there with NOTHING done for 3 weeks last month!! I was freaking out. Actually, they have done almost everything THIS WEEK. It's amazing. I guess they were right when they said they could finish it in a week if they HAD to. Yesterday they put all the carpet in both floors, got the water running, put the rest of the kitchen cabinets in, poured our patio, and put the dishwasher in. It's finally looking like a home! I can't wait to get the keys.
So - try not to get TOO stressed, I know everytime I would visit the house I would leave REALLY upset. Seemed like they were doing everything wrong, but in the end it's perfect!
We aren't even supposed to be able to get into our house, they lock it up. But one time they forgot to lock the kitchen window, and Justin boosted me and I went head first through it. I'm glad I did because they had put the wrong flooring in in the kitchen! But now we figured out the garage code, so we can get in all the time  HAHAHA (evil laugh)
Anyways, good luck with it all! So exciting!! Don't put your change-of-address in TOO soon, we had problems when we did that....I say SEND it at 30 days.
