Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

Hey all!

So I'm finally done with moving, and finals, and my trip to Turkey to see my wonderful boyfriend, and I'm back in classes for the summer (my school is on the quarter system).

Turkey was gorgeous though! I had a fabulous time, minus getting sunburned and the heat getting to my tummy. My boyfriend hasn't ever really had to deal with me being in lots of tummy pain before, so that was new experience for him. He handled it well. But anyways, we were in Istanbul for a few days, where he lives right now, and then we went to Troy, which was ok. The ruins at Troy aren't really that great; they're rather disorganized, and there's not much there. We then went to Ayvlik, a little fishing town on the Aegean Sea, and to Pergemum, which also has some ruins, which were neat. Then back to Istanbul for a day to gather stuff for me to bring back for people, and then it was back to the States with me.

Other than being in pain due to the heat, IBS wise I was ok. Granted I was subsisting mostly on bread and water, since they have a tendency to make everything so oily over there. But I'm glad to be back, and y'all sound like you've been busy.
