Terrific reply, sweetpea! Great analysis. I forgot you're wheat free. Rice crackers would do the trick if they're salty. I think it's the salt that helps.
That stinks about the paychecks. That's really too bad. And I meant lying down at home when you got back with the dogs, silly!! Yeah, they wouldn't let me lie down at work either! (Just a quick reminder, under the Americans with Disabilities Act, your employer is REQUIRED to make reasonable accommodations to your disability, and if having a place to lie down would help you, even just in a reclining desk chair, they have to consider it. Everything is negotiable.)
What I meant about car sick is, sometimes I don't even notice I'm nauseous from a car trip until after I get home. I just wondered if that could be a factor, your drive to/from work bothering you now because of the fibro, while it didn't before. Then you could take some meclizine and put on your biobands before you leave.
Glad the leg and back pain is better today. WHOO HOO!!! At least one positive thing.
And as far as the walk up the hill to the deli almost killing you, boy, can I relate to that!! Shortly after I got sick, I had an appointment to get my haircut. The salon is near me and I usually walk. I almost didn't make it, just like you, woozy, shaky, out of breath, walking REAL slowly (even the little old ladies were passing me!). Four months later when I went back for my next trim, I walked there again, and this time, no fatigue!! I had recovered enough in four months that I could walk that distance again with no problem. So see, there is hope!!
You are SO WELCOME for any help I can give you. I have to repay the luck gods somehow and the best way I can think of is helping somebody newly diagnosed by sharing my experience with them. So I should say thank you to you because otherwise those luck gods would be getting a little testy! (And I'm SO glad you liked my fido joke! he he)
