You get TOTAL credit just for walking out the door. That was obviously all you were SUPPOSED to walk today. Too bad the dogs were disappointed, but they're not the ones with fibro, "fido" maybe but not fibro! he he
Okay, let's review again what you're doing for the nausea and what could be causing it.
Home remedies: Dramamine II (meclizine) -- I just took some for my migraine nausea, it really helps. Ginger ale, tea, altoids, candy Pepto Bismol Saltines Keeping food in your tummy by eating every two hours Biobands Working on that trigger point from Devin's book Lying down - seriously, movement makes nausea worse.
Causes: Fibro symptom? Migraine symptom? New meds? Pregnant? (no, never mind, that would be immaculate conception wouldn't it) Car sick? Chemical sensitivity? Any strong odors around?
And you FELL??!! You poor baby! How awful! Now, I'm going to suggest something that you're going to resist, so I want you to promise to THINK about it before saying no. Promise??!!
Okay, I suggest getting a really cool walking stick. (Notice I DIDN'T say cane.) Do a search online, they sell gorgeous ones, antique ones, incredible ones. And they HELP!! When I went down to see my mom in Hilton Head, I took a cane. I'm sure I would have fallen at some point without it. Plus canes and walking sticks absorb 25% of your body weight, which means it takes 25% less energy to walk!! How cool is that?? If there was anything else I could do that saved me 25% of my energy, I'd be all over it like a duck on a June bug (or cicada!).
If the stabby pain in your lower back and the shooting pains down your leg don't let up tomorrow, let me know and I'll run that part of your life for you too! (Can you tell I'm the oldest sibling? Totally bossy big sister!!)
FEEL BETTER, OKAY?? SLEEP WELL, SWEETIE!!
