Hi Jen, I think this is a really good idea, as I am feeling very sorry for myself today and could use the positive thinking! I am grateful for... -Reality TV (okay, so I don't get as much while in the UK but I am obsessed when better located) -Immodium -My work-mate Kate who seems understanding of my tummy problem as she had a friend in University with no colon (I didn't ask for details) -My boyfriend -Fish tanks with salt water fish -My sister, who is 15 years older than me but the best person to talk to about absolutely anything. -"Friends" the TV show.. even though I have seen all the episodes now, and must settle with re-runs *sigh* -My 2 dogs and how excited they get when I come home -Fuzzy blankets and pillows -Heating pads -Margaritas (not allowed them now, but we had a good relationship while it lasted) -The 's' word. Enough said. -People that are nice, even when they don't have to be. -Paid sick days -Having a job that doesn't make me clean out ashtrays and smell like smoke - WOO HOOO! -Surveys -Matchbox20 and Barenaked Ladies songs -Having a house to move back to with more than one toilet! -Soy chocolate ice cream -Any time that passes without me thinking about my tummy -Sunny days in convertible cars -BBQ food -the way toddlers look when they run (And I don't even like kids!) -The people that were real sh--s in high school, and have turned into somewhat decent people since leaving -MSN Messenger (my link to Canadian friends!) -Faye Kellerman books -Ben Affleck
Hmm, I should stop now. I do feel a bit better though (I just typoed and wrote 'a bitter bet' - oops). Oh, and I am greatful for Jen, for posting this question. --Steph
