Okay...so heres the dilemma. I am going to be going on a trip with my family this summer, and my IBS (c) is absolutely awful when I go away that I hardly enjoy the beautiful places we travel to.
My IBS is absolutely out of control when I go away, and it is so painful, uncomfortable and not fun AT ALL, especially when you go to a place with an amazing beach where you are in a bathing suit *sigh*
So basically, for as long as I can remember, memories of trips are always somewhat negative because I can never truly enjoy them feeling crappy like this. There is no one besides you guys who can truly understand that because my family has no idea how much discomfort and pain it actually causes that they just think I am in a bad mood, a spoil sport or just exaggerating and it seems like I ALWAYS bring them down and put a damper on the trip. Then I feel bad, and they get bad, and ARGH its soooo frustrating!!!
I think a lot of people have this problem when they are travelling, and I guess it has something to do with the fact that I'm not a huge fan of hotels and their bathroom but STILL. I NEED HELP and advice on how I can deal with it so I can actually enjoy my trip, have an awesome time and not bring the whole family down because of my stupid tummy troubles. Oh boy, well sorry for the rant but it upsets me that I can't always enjoy my vacations to the fullest because I have to worry about if my intestines are going to function properly!!!!!!
Anyway, thanks so much for reading this if you did, any advice would be much appreciated! ~*Ibsgrl*~
