Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

Hey guys! So I'm just letting you know how prom went! It was REALLY fun!

My sister did all my makeup and hair and stuff (because she's all into fashion stuff and REALLY good at it) and then I went over to one of my friends house where a bunch of my friends were getting ready. Then we went to a restaurant in the city. I took some Equalactin (thanks Heather->Bevrs->Jen

) with some water (luckily it wasn't really cold water

) but then I just ordered plain rice b/c all of the dishes didn't look safe and the restaurant was really dark so i wouldn't have been able to see what I was eating/see how greasy it was, etc. So I did that and that was cool and then we went to prom and I had so much fun but I was already exhausted (actually before I got to the restaurant I was exhausted..lol). But I just had so much fun because I saw a bunch of my friends that I hadn't seen in so long and it was just...awesome. I was either sitting or walking around finding people most of the time...and there was one point when I felt like i needed to find the bathroom..but it was funny..lots of people were going there anyways because there was a lounge with couches where people could rest there aching feet right by the bathrooms. I just had fun because all of my friends were there and I wasn't really worried about 'what if...' once i got there cause I realized that they're my friends and that they understand. If they don't then..well..you know what that means, but I don't really have any friends like that so far. (knock on wood)! I love my friends and it was so fun...it was worth taking like a day barely being able to get out of bed afterwards b/c so tired and hurting and still being tired. I'll never forget that night!
