We're all in the same boat, Gretta. We've all been there. (And still are, actually....)

I'm a D. I'm 59 (okay, so I'll be the big 60 in November, damnitall), and I have diverticulosis as well as IBS. Great fun stuff!

You're in good hands here, Gretta. Everyone is very helpful, so please feel free to ask any and all questions you might have. I left your boyfriend a very long post for you, so I won't repeat it all again. Suffice it to say that you will get better by staying here and asking all the questions you have. Of course, sticking with the program is essential. I got SOOO much better when I got real about it all and stopped being in denial. Accepting the fact and then dealing with it is absolutely the only way to "heal."

Any IBS questions you have, just feel free to post them in the IBS Diet Board. You'll get a lot of response there. This Board (The Living Room) is where we all just "natter" and "schmooze." You'll enjoy the "What Is It?" Game. (I'm terrible at it!)
