I remember when one of my guinea pigs passed away I kept on crying and when I wasn't crying I couldn't believe he was gone. I still tell them (they are both in guinea pig heaven now) I love them every day and that I hope they are resting peacefully. What you can do is look up into the sky at the clouds and i'm sure you'll see one shaped like Terrapin...proof that she is in heaven peacefully. You take your time. And cry your eyes out. Where we buried our guinea pigs a beautiful pink tulip grew from the ground...the prettiest I've ever seen. I would have to say that was the saddest I've ever been, so I am sending you hugs, okay? It will definitely take time. What I had to try to do was block out the images of sickness and remember the images of happiness!
