Just think how wonderful it must be there for Terrapin--lots of laps to sit on, yummy food to eat, all the birds to chase that she wants, plenty of sunshine to bask in, and best of all she will never have to feel pain again. The only sad thing is that you are left here on earth without her and I'm sure she misses you too! It's wonderful that you could be there with her to reassure and comfort her as she died. Go ahead and cry all you want and take some time to mourn your loss. I'm thinking of you!
