Oh yeah been there for sure! I always eat extra careful the day before I take my car in. Luckily my work is very laid back here and if worst came to worst, could hide out in the bathroom if I needed to. At least until I felt well enough to go get my car.
I usually don't drive anywhere with other people though just in case I need to make a quick getaway. It's mostly all in my head though and once I stop thinking horrible stomach attack thoughts, I can get through being away from my car, or the bathroom for that matter!
