Hey, Losers. (3.29.04)       03/29/04 05:29 AM Edit Reply Quote jenX Reged: 08/11/03 Posts: 3252 Loc: Richmond, VA Hey, fellow losers... I did horribly most of the weekend. There was alcohol and too much food at a sitting and some cheating on the gluten-free. Oy. The alcohol didn't hurt me, and I can't believe the eating too much at once didn't, but I felt the gluten. It's weird to describe, but I know that was the culprit! Anyway, I pulled it together (somehow) yesterday. Ate reasonably, though I started late 'cause I was lazy and wouldn't get out of bed! We had a big party for my brother and forbidden foods we everywhere, but I just ignored it and ate my lonely little rice noodle meal. I was a little whistful at cake and ice cream time, but I got over it! I wasn't prepared... I think I'm picking up some sorbet on the way home as a reward! It was especially hard when Beloved Niece kept saying "There's cake, jen-jen. Do you want some?" and "Jen-jen, do you want ice cream?" ARGH! She's 2 and busy learing how to be a hostess! I just kept telling her I was full. Unfortunately, she's a bottomless pit like her super model-shaped mother, so "full" is not a concept that registers with her! Anyway, I will do even better today! (Especially since I think the 5 Cosmopolitans on Friday and the sake on Saturday stayed with me, calorie-wise. ) And I resolve not to cheat and have gluten! I hate how I feel when I do!
