Some success       03/24/04 10:59 PM Edit Reply Quote KinOz Reged: 02/02/03 Posts: 909 Loc: Brisbane, Australia Well I had to work today so that helped curb the spending. So I can't take much credit for not spending but as far as the sugar goes I think I can. On my desk at work sits a jar full of jelly beans. I buy these for the kids - supposedly. I didn't eat ONE! Not a single one! I feel much better for it. I also walked my dogs again this morning. Tomorrow may be another story but at least I feel good about today. I had a call from my Mum this afternoon and she asked me if a money fairy had been around my way because she has noticed I've been spending a lot. I felt like a naughty kid with her hand caught in the cookie jar! She means well and is just trying to help but it put a bit of a damper on my feeling of success. I almost responded by going out to get some red licorice but had a bowl of cornflakes instead.
