That you'd use to measure out a Tablespoon of flour or vanilla extract for baking. She's making the point in the Acacia FAQ that you shouldn't be depending on actual spoons you would eat with (be it tea, soup, ice cream, pudding, etc...) for exactly the reason you all are discussing--- spoons aren't standard, nor are they "exactly a tablespoon" or "exactly a teaspoon..."
