Irritable Bowel Syndrome Message Boards

i have had something they called spastic colon for 7 yrs since i was 18 im 25 now a full time student and a single mother i have been having problems since i was 18 keeping a job and having a social life in and out of the hospitals for colonoscopys and endooscopys that make it worse and dont show anything anyway i know that there are things i cant eat and when i find outwhat they are i dont eat them any more but lately i havent been able to eat much of anything and it seems that its progressively getting worse as each day comes lately every 2 to 4 hrs are my "bathroom time" some times for 5 min up to 1 hr at a time my son which will be 2 in march spend most of that time in there with me because i am without the "sperm donor" i have missed almost 1 month of school because of my problem im at a crossroads and i dont know which way to go or what to do i went back to the doc yesterday and they ran blood work that took a good hr i have bad veins and im depressed lately because i m missing out on my sons life and my own i cant drive for long periods of time and what was really devastating to me is that CATS was in town and for my B- DAY my mom got me tickets to go and i couldnt even sit through it without getting sick i mean when am i ever gonna get a chance like that ever again ya know well im done i hope that someone can help !!!!!! sincerely stuck in the house (kelcey)
