My sympathy theory       02/23/04 06:32 AM Edit Reply Quote Linz Reged: 09/01/03 Posts: 8242 Loc: England I have devised a theory about sympathy from acquaintances - a colleagues flu having made me think. It is... if you're ill, then you get a certain amount of sympathy from people (mainly colleagues, etc not family). However, if you're ill for a long time (like with IBS) you don't get any more sympathy than if you had flu, but it's stretched out over the months. Grrr! Anyway...I'm stuck at work and my IBS and Fibro have been playing up since the beginning of last week. I should really be in bed. I hate work .
