Tune in Sunday night - the PBS channel - 9:00 p.m. Look in the TV Guide for "Masterpiece Theater."
We're into Series II, the next generation. Too bad you missed the first generation -- incredible acting, incredible story -- just a GREAT show!
"The Forsythe Saga" was written by John Gallsworthy, who won the Nobel Prize for it. The book is in 6 volumes, and that's going to be on my next year's letter to Santa.
"Friends" has got to be the BEST sitcom in history. At one time, I thought "That Girl" was the best -- 30 years ago we ALL wanted to be "That Girl!" But "Friends" has it beat.
Coming up on its heels, though -- I think -- is "Two and a Half Men." Charlie Sheen could not be more adorable. When he appeared on "Friends" as Phoebe's love interest, I went crazy. Those devilish eyes of his -- oooh, BABY! You just know he's trouble. If you haven't seen "Two and a Half Men," tune in Monday night!
Uh-oh. Is he on the same time as "Obnoxious"? Oh dear -- better go check the TV Guide.
But don't miss "Masterpiece Theater" Sunday night. You're in for a treat. Even if you've missed the past episodes, the host of "Masterpiece Theater" gives a little background beforehand. You'll get hooked on the characters right away! Oh, and don't forget -- there are no commercials -- so you gotta go potty first; otherwise, you gotta hold it, Girlfriend!
