If you can tolerate IBS, you can tolerate a little drilling. Just sit in that chair and take it -- and thank your lucky stars it's not an attack. I go every 6 months like clockwork. My gums are soft because of all the estrogen I have to take. Every time the dentist pokes, they bleed. It hurts like hell. But I'll take it any day over an IBS attack.
