For a long time of suffering of IBS, I'm sick and tired of every time I eat my favorite foods being a game of chance. As long as I can remember, about 5-8 years ago, about the prime of my childhood, I've been having these monstrous pains. For about 9 months, I have been discussing with my doctor and my family about this, and by this point am really sure it's IBS. And ever since, I've been trying to figure out why I have been having it. I have a number of theories. One is my eating habits: I'm afraid that sometimes whenever I eat my favorite foods (unfortunately, most of them are listed under the "IBS Trigger Section") I'll have this pain. Every Saturday night, after church, I used to go to Burger King, and had a casual Fry/cheeseburger meal. Having memories of attacks, I fast from eating @ BK. Same goes with other foods, which are listed under my "Can I eat these anyomre?" (Anymore is spelled wrong in the title). I sometimes eat those foods nowadays, and sometimes I get an attack. Now here's where it gets REAL confusing. My grandpa thinks it's stress. He says that It's a huge factor, but I try to refrain, yet sometimes evenings of days I get too worried I get an attack. And a third thing that I don't get is the fact that it's so unpredictable, and I believe everyone's reaction to this pain is different physically. And finally, how other people can go through eating a lot of that kind of food. (I'm not real angry at THAT, just curious...) If anyone can help, thank you very very much, and I hope to enjoy my stay here. And to all others who are also against IBS, LET'S FIND A CURE!!!
