Does IBS go in remission?       07/25/09 02:52 PM Edit Reply Quote unekme Reged: 06/08/06 Posts: 29 Loc: Orem, Utah I was diagnosed with IBS a bit over 2 years ago and have eaten great and followed the diet almost perfectly. A few months ago I ran out of the fiber and found I actually had a BM EVERY day instead of 5 to 7 days and the pain and cramping are all gone. I am eating fiber foods and still no problems. I refuse to go back to dairy and red meat as I also have a heart condition. Has any one else every heard of IBS going away or in remission? Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
