Stressed......mom is back in the hospital       04/25/09 08:47 AM Edit Reply Quote Nugget Reged: 02/10/03 Posts: 2167 I haven't been visiting much here lately again. Just been busy. Then last night my dad had to take my mom to the ER. As some of you know, she recently had heart surgery to replace a valve. Then she had a complication 2 days after surgery and needed emergency colon surgery to remove a dead portion of her colon. Well she has been doing pretty well until recently. Yesterday she had a sore show up over night that quickly grew and ruptured next to one of her incisions. Plus she's been having trouble with her kidney function levels. Thankfully, they believe the infection from the sore is localized to just under the skin. They put her on antibiotics for that, but decided to admit her to the ICU to get her kidney function under control. So she's back in the hospital. And I'm stressed which is causing flare ups with my IBS-D. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
