That is very good news. I am glad you have found your calling. If working with animals does that for you, then that is where you need to be. You have found a passion that is close to my heart. Being an animal lover...I applaud you.
You can start at the ground floor with a veterinarian. It won't be good pay, but you will learn much. I believe there is schooling for a vet tech. I am not sure how much you would want to be involved with operations and such...maybe you just want to be at the front desk.
There is also your local Humane Society, but that can be heart-breaking at times.
