Celexa is a SSRI and although I have never taken it, other SSRIs - cause me to have anxiety/panic episodes - rapid HB, sweaty/clammy, jittery, nausea, inability to calm down. You would think the opposite since we need serotonin in - produced in our gut- as well as our brain - to help the IBS, but this particular drug class does the opposite to me. The good news is, it does wear off - drink lots of water and hope you are feeling better by now. The bad news is, once you are my age and going through menopause you are up half the night anyway! - Dorothy -------------------- "I Will Survive! :-)...
