Yes, it is hard work, but when I consider the alternative - no thanks. My DH is my best friend, my lover, my confident, and the most important person in my life. I would be lost forever without him. We often joke and he says he's leaving - and I reply only if I can come too! If a marriage was easy, no one would ever divorce and we'd all live in Shangrala. This is the real world. Work at it for all it is worth to you.
And Double J, IMHO men don't suck. Couples who don't understand and who don't communicate with each other have uneducated opinions of their other half. I love my man and would't trade him for anyone else. (Married 2 years, together 10)
