I'd be interested in hearing how this goes.

I've actually never really felt too motivated to get over my emetophobia. I've taken it as a gift. I'm convinced it kept me from getting involved with the typical teenage/ young adult pitfalls (drinking, drugs, eating disorders, etc.). I think it has kept me from being a compulsive overeater like nearly everyone else in my family.

Yes, of course it has it's downfalls - being paralyzed with fear is never a good thing. I could never work in a hospital, school or anything like that, so you could say it is life affecting. But I wouldn't say it's the major issue in my life.
