You would be going at both ends with some violent explosive D and projectile vomiting at the same time if you had it. It usually is at its worst 8 hours after ingestion, then tapers off after a while over the course of a day or so. Trust me, there's no such thing as "I think I might have gotten a wee touch of the food poisoning..." When you have it, there is no mistake.
