Hey Nugget, I Cheated Too!

I was so inspired by your cookie dough cheating that I thought I should cheat too.
This past Friday I made one of my favorite Everyday Italian pasta dishes--Penne with Sundried Tomatoe Pesto--and I was in Heaven! I ate at about 8:30PM and by 1 AM, I had D (I'm IBS-C). While I was sitting on the pot, a thin, wry smile spread across my face. I couldn't help it! The next day, Saturday in the afternoon, I opened the fridge and looked at the leftovers. That thin wry smile spread across my face again but this time, I padded my tummy with several slices of French Boule bread, had the pasta and guess what? No D! I even used some of the bread to sop up some of the tomatoes in all of their extra virgin olive oil goodness! I think I'll be making this again but I'll make sure to make it when I'm on an extended weekend. Woohoo!
The ingredients are 12oz of Penne Pasta, blend together 1 cup of fresh Basil leaves, 2 cloves of garlic, and 1 jar (7oz) of Sundried Tomatoes with their olive oil that they're packed in. Salt and pepper to taste. Drain the pasta and mix with the sauce. Use 1 cup of the pasta water to thin out the sauce a bit. Yummmmmmmmmm!
