I had my head CT last Friday to check things out because my migraines have been so much worse lately.
Went to my family dr. for the results yesterday - I still have a 2.7 cm / about 1 inch cyst between the lining of my brain and the skull. Now it is scalloping my skull. That's it, the dr. says. (I've had this cyst my whole life, discovered at 15 - 16 when I first started getting migraines)
So I asked, what does it mean - scalloping? Well, the cyst is chipping away my skull.
Is there anything that can be done? Not that my dr. knows of.
Is this the cause of my migraines? Not that my dr. knows.
So, I have to wait and see the Chronic Illness dr June 12th.
At least I have the really good, expensive Maxalt to kill the migraines!
