I took a look at the Family Post Website and it seems to be saying it's free but the review disagrees. Also, based on this write-up, it looks like creation of your family site is free but there's a monthly maintenance fee. So if you decide to pursue this be very cautious and - of course - don't reveal any credit card or billing info. You can store photos really, truly for free on places like Ophoto and share them with only the people you invite to see them. I do this a fair amount with trip and holiday photos that I want to share with friends and family. It's pretty cool. I know there are other sites like that out there but I can't come up with their names right off hand.
