Is it OK to ask for a doctor recommendation on here?       02/13/07 05:04 PM Edit Reply Quote DianeM Reged: 12/05/06 Posts: 173 Loc: Kentucky I have been through 3 "specialists," and I use that term loosely. Not one seemed to be familiar with how to treat an IBS patient (the first two couldn't even diagnose me - said they were out of things to try). Is it OK to ask if someone on this board can recommend a GI in my area? I didn't want to start something that wasn't allowed, so thought I'd ask first. Thanks!
