The pills I'm taking are more short-term than Plaquenil and say they have less side effects so hopefully I'll be ok. I'm quite stable now, so I'm sure taking them after a safe meal is fine. I take one pill per day, starting 2 days before I leave, and continuing 5 days after I come back. I think I'll bring some ginger tablets with me incase of nausea.
