Just wanted to chime in that I don't think you're crazy. I feel like I'm crazy all the time! But in reality, you just went through something physical at an early age and a time when kids are impressionable. Children who don't have open heart surgery tend to go through a hypochondriac phase always asking for a bandaid, so it's understandable you have focused on it more considering what you went through. Give hypno a try and remember that your test results were all normal and each person (without IBS) feels different every day, including some abdominal discomfort from what they've eaten, stress, etc..
