as we speak I'm supposed to be in work, however, my 8year old woke up this morning tellin me that he felt like he was gonna throw up. I said go back to bed for a bit and you'll feel better.(unfortunately I've passed down the emitaphobia to him too so every time he's nauseous he thinks he's gonna throw up and he gets terrible anxiety worrying over throwing up!) Anyway, as it turns out he has a 102.5 fever but no throw up yet............I'm prayiing he's maybe nauseous from mucous dripping cause he's now sounding like he may be coming down with a cold maybe...WoooHooo, hopefully no stomach bug cause I too am a wreck worrying every winter if I"ll get the stomach bug. I can honestly tell you that it's been about 4 years since I had a throwing up bug(knock on wood!)I wash my hands ALOT (not to the point of OCD but probably darn near close. I use my antibacterial hand stuff all the time. In fact I just noticed how dry my hands are probably from it but I don't care! If I prevent a bug, it's worth dry hands! I feel for you though. I'm right with ya on the anxiety of getting sick and throwing up. Sometimes I think I make myself nauseated just thinking about it. CRAZY! I guess we just can't help it though.
