Some of my attacks I get quite a lot of pain before, but this is relieved with the D. The off feeling afterwards is normal, and you should eat as safely as possible until your stomach calms down. Usually a virus will cause vomiting and D for 1-3 days, sometimes with fever. If your D subsided pretty quickly then it's most likely not a virus.
