Hi Amy! I am so happy to hear from you! Boston yeah, was that the trip you were going to take for your birthday? Sounds like you had a great time. Sorry to hear about the spring rolls but glad you didn't have any major problems. I am so glad to know that you truly enjoyed yourself.
Hawaii was really fun! I got back late on Thursday night but the trip was worth missing Thanksgiving. As for my IBS, well I had an unfortunate run in with pineapple (the enemy!!) b/c I forgot that I wasn't suppose to eat it (DUH!) so I was hurting for a few hours. Other than that Hawaii is perfect for us IBS folks because they have rice and fish galore! They even offer rice with your eggs in the morning! The islands are truly perfect and just what I needed.
Things are good right now..still trying to get a grip on this whole thing and trying new recipes. I had to toss some pumpkin bread out today b/c it was undercooked--live and learn! Antibiotic treatment has helped some so the doc wants to put me on another round some time in December. I am about to try those enzymes you recommended to see if they help too. I bought them some time ago but I couldn't take them b/c I was on trial with other meds/supplements.
