Hi Siggy,

Thanks for posting your story. I think I lean more toward obsessive rather than compulsive. I have a few compulsive behaviors, but they aren't getting in the way of every day life - but they are annoying. I do have obsessive thoughts that prevent me from falling asleep sometimes. I do have a lot of anxiety about these thoughts and my IBS. I'm 23 weeks pregnant right now, so medication isn't an option. I'm due in March, and my phychologst and I will re-evaluate my condition after that. She did say that she's going to be more 'pushy' with me in the next few sessions, so I'm gearing up for some frustration like you had. :0)

Glad to know I'm not alone. I don't think mine was caused by anything traumatic, probably just the way I'm wired.
