There are anumber of things that have similar symptoms to IBS that are much more serious. Everything else needs to be ruled out before you accept a diagnosis of IBS. Has any doctor ever run any tests for you?

In the meantime, Heather's diet won't hurt you any. Are you following it? Acacia fiber is very helpful and from what I'm told, perfectly safe to use while you're pregnant. Try hot herbal teas and get lots of water and as much rest as you can.
