I can tell you that after a bout of something called C-diff(intestinal issue brought on by too many antibiotics back to back)I noticed I can no longer tolerate icecream, corn on the cobb and lettuce. I don't eat cream soups anymore and I try to limit my cream cheese and sour creams too. I've had IBS for 18 years and either I just suffered with those items prior to my c-diff bout or what but I now completely stay away from those. It's just not worth it!
